Ingredients

Servings: 36

18 strips bacon

1 cup Musselman’s® Premium Apple Butter

½ cup maple syrup

¼ cup dark brown sugar

½ tsp. red pepper flakes

½ tsp. kosher salt

½ tsp. smoked paprika

36 shrimp (26-30 count), peeled and deveined, cooked

Method

  1. Parcook bacon until beginning to brown yet still flexible. Remove to absorbent paper; reserve.
  2. In medium saucepan, whisk together apple butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, pepper, salt and paprika. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, 4 minutes. Let mixture cool about 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line half-sheet pan with parchment paper or silicone liner.
  4. Cut bacon strips in half crosswise; wrap one strip around each shrimp and skewer together. Place skewers on lined pan.
  5. Brush shrimps with glaze; bake 4 to 5 minutes. Turn shrimp over, brush with glaze. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until shrimp is cooked through.
